The Sustainable Furniture Making Course is a hands-on, project-based course designed to equip learners with the skills to create functional, stylish, and eco-friendly furniture. This course blends traditional woodworking techniques with modern sustainable design principles to promote environmental responsibility in furniture production. Students will learn how to select and work with reclaimed, renewable, and low-impact materials; apply non-toxic finishes; and design for durability and minimal waste. From conceptualization to final construction, participants will build several furniture pieces such as stools and tables while mastering joinery, measurement, tool usage, and finishing techniques.
